Prayer Requests for the week of May 17, 2009...

Hello to all of our prayer partners out there. Thank you for your investment in what is going on here in Peru. Your prayers are so important to the work here.

We've had a very busy week with lots going on. We have three college student teams here working with us... from Ole Miss, Liberty University and The Citadel. These are the first groups of nearly 250 students working with us this summer. We have seen God do some amazing work already with these teams. Please lift them up in prayer this week.

Monday (May 18) a team from Calhoun Association, Mississippi arrives. They are one of our partner churches and have a great ministry up in the Chachapoyas area. Students from William Carey University, Mississippi arrive on Tuesday. Please pray for these teams as they travel this week. We have 19 different groups headed our way over the next few weeks so pray for the REAP North Peru Team as we prepare for their work here in Peru.

The work here in Peru is doing well and the gospel is going to unreached places. We continue to hear great reports from our teams as new bible studies are starting, existing churches are being strengthened and new churches are being planted. We continue to focus heavily on training Peruvians to do the work of missions here in Peru. We also are busy recruiting new partner churches in the U.S. who will adopt unreached people groups so that they will be able to understand the gospel.

As for our family, Haylee and Jackson are doing well. We are blessed to have a good school and good support for them here. Liesa and Jeff are busy coordinating logistics for our partner churches and serving our excellent team of missionaries. It would help to have a few more hours available each day.

Thank you so much for your prayers! Check out the new REAP website at
