10 July 2010 Update...

Thank you so much for your prayers on our behalf. We've had a challenging week and we know your prayers made the difference in so many ways.

We have been in Huancayo, Peru for the past week with a team of over 100. We've been working with on an International World Changers Project where we used medical ministry to open the doors for sharing the gospel among the Wanka Quechua people group. We had a great week despite the challenges of feeding a large group, transporting them to difficult places, and the health challenges of working above 10,000 feet.

We were able to work together as a family on a crew of 22 folks which included a Peruvian pastor and his wife. We were able to provide medical care to families and individuals. A highlight was seeing a family of 8 people begin a relationship with Christ. A bigger blessing was having a local pastor with us to enable all of those we led to Christ to have a contact with a local church.

We'll be in Lima this week preparing for a strong finish to a busy U.S. summer here in Peru. We'll have First Baptist Starkville, MS arriving on July 22 and our final IWC project begins August 3. These are just two of the 14 mission teams coming in to work in Peru in the next couple of weeks.

Please continue to pray!
