Most of the people who read this are UP there...to the North...in the U.S...Land of the stimulus packages. We're here in Lima, Peru and folks here are very interested in Obama and the new economic stimulus package. We are becoming more and more aware of how important the U.S. is to everyone here in Peru. It seems as the U.S. economy goes, so goes the hopes of billions of people. So, we're praying that folks in the U.S. know what they're doing.
Thank you for your prayers for Haylee, Jackson, Liesa and Jeff. We are doing well and getting prepared for Liesa's family's arrival on Thursday. We look forward to the visit with them.
Our crates of furniture are still out at the port here in Lima. Hopefully any day the customs officials will release them and we can find out what we've been living without for the past 16 months. You can keep praying about that.
Also we have six church mission teams arriving over the next 3 weeks. Pray that the Story of Jesus will be proclaimed boldly and clearly.
