Jeremiah Masoli joins REAP NORTH Peru team...

No. Not really. But he has joined the Ole Miss Rebel football team after some successes and mistakes at a previous school. I don't know Señor Masoli but I do know that he will be in an environment at Ole Miss where he will hear about Jesus. He will be given an opportunity to understand the Scriptures and, if he hasn't already, will be given an opportunity to begin an eternal life journey with Jesus. Mr. Masoli will also be given an opportunity to walk away from that opportunity with no hard feelings.

Maybe he'll make a difference on the football field this year for Ole Miss. Maybe I'll get to see Jeremiah Masoli play in a bowl game when we're in the USA for the holidays. Those are maybe's. The sure thing is that there are a lot of things in life more important than football. Jeremiah Masoli and well over a hundred other Ole Miss football players will hear a lot about that over the next few months.

I'm praying personally for the coaches, athletes, players, and others I know at Ole Miss who see football as an opportunity to 'make disciples.'
